Glazed Ham, Brie & Cranberry Crostini

Serves: 20-25 Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 8 minutes

Ingredients

• 500gr Thinly sliced cooked Xmas Ham

• 300gr brie cheese, sliced

• 1 jar of cranberry sauce or cranberry relish

• 1 bottle balsamic glaze for drizzling)

• 2 French baguette or ciabatta loaf, cut into 1cm slices

• Olive oil & 1 garlic clove, crushed

Method

In a small bowl, combine olive oil and crushed garlic. Let sit for 5–10 minutes to infuse. Brush each bread slice lightly with olive oil.

Toast on a baking tray at 180°C for 6–8 minutes, or until crisp and golden. Let cool slightly.

Place a slice of brie on each toasted bread piece while still warm, so it softens gently.

Roll or fold thin slices of glazed ham and set them on top of the brie. Spoon a small dollop of cranberry sauce over the ham. Drizzle lightly with balsamic glaze for shine and depth of flavour.

Sprinkle with toasted nuts (optional) for crunch.

Garnish each with a small fresh mint leaf for a festive, aromatic touch.

Secure with a cocktail stick if serving as stand-up canapés.
