Baking sourdough is a valuable traditional skill that results in beautiful, high quality, and seriously delicious bread. To learn to bake your own is an affordable alternative to purchasing artisan loaves, which can be a costly habit, and offers a deeper connection to your food.
This is a fun and down-to-earth workshop, where no question is too basic. Whether you've never baked before, or have dabbled in the world of sourdough, this workshop is for you.
Leah of Living Sourdough will share her knowledge and teach you about sourdough starter culture, how to develop the bread structure and flavour, and how to achieve that classic sourdough crust; all in an approachable manner.
